Day 1: Cape Town
Pick up at the airport and transfer to our accommodation. The
rest of the day is dedicated to explore the Mother City. In the
afternoon we take the ferry to Robben Island, symbol of
the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa, the prison where Nelson
Mandela was kept for 27 years because of his opposition to apartheid.
Overnight in Cape Town. Experience the Mother City night life after
an exotic dinner in one of its delicious restaurants.
Day 2: Cape Peninsula
An unforgettable journey to the mythical meeting place of the two
great oceans. Breathtaking scenic beauty contrasts with the harsh
rugged conditions of the most south-westerly edge of the African continent.
Optional boat ride to view seals on Duiker Island. We drive along
the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive. We visit Cape Point and
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a dramatically wild area of towering
cliffs, stupendous ocean views and deserted beaches. Weather and time
permitting, there is an optional visit to the Penguin colony
at the Boulders and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, one of the
Seven Magnificent Botanical Gardens of the world. Another relaxing
overnight in Cape Town.
Day 3: Mossel Bay, Victoria Bay, Inverness, George.
Today we drive on the Garden Route exploring the most beautiful corner
on the south west coast: Mossel Bay, Inverness, George. We stop at
Victoria Bay for the overnight, one of the most famous beaches of
the area ideal for angling and a challenge to top surfers. There
are also natural paddling pools amongst the rocks where children can
spend many happy hours playing. In the afternoon we visit one
of the best and smallest wine cellar of the area where we can buy
a bottle of wine to enjoy at the Warm Waters. Perfect night for
a braai (barbecue).
Day 4: Ocean Safari, Plattemberg Bay, Keurbooms River, Knysna
In the morning we drive to Plattemberg Bay, one of the most beautiful
town of the Garden Route to experience the Ocean Safari. We will approach
whales within 50 meters (in the season), dolphins, sharks and other
marine species. After a special Italian lunch we enjoy the majesty
of the Keurbooms River estuary on a boat ride. The ferries glide shimmering
waters through soaring gorges of the unspoilt Keurnbooms Nature
Reserve. Relaxing overnight in Knysna, the Southern Cape coast's best
known holiday destinations.
Day 5: Knysna, Lagoon cruise, the Heads
One of the highlights of any visit to South Africa's Garden Route
is a ferry ride on the Knysna Lagoon with a visit to the famous Heads,
two great sandstone cliffs guarding the mouth of the lagoon which
connects the estuary with the sea .Knysna Lagoon is an estuary which
is fed by Salt rivers. It plays a vital role in sustaining bird
and aquatic life of the lagoon. Lunch on the boat, watching tranquil
blue waters meeting the lush costal forest of the Western Head. Overnight

Day 6: Monkeyland, Tsitsikamma National Park
This morning we head for the Monkey land the world's first multi-species
free-roaming primate sanctuary, renowned throughout the world for
its rehabilitation work. After an enjoyable walk through the Bird
of Even Sanctuary, we move to the Elephants Sanctuary which offers
guests an encounter with Elephants as never before. Fully escorted
by high knowledgeable guides you will interact, feed and walk trunk
in hand with African Elephants. after such incredible wildlife experience
we start drive toward the Tsitsikamma region. We will spend the
night enjoying the unique comfort and quietness of the Tsitsikamma
Lodge. The wood cabins are furnished with Jacuzzi bath and everything
you need for making your special braai at the moonlight
Day 7: Port Elisabeth
Our journey continues to Port Elisabeth where there is an option to experience
all water based activities offered by the city: diving, cruising,
snorkelling, whales, dolphins, sharks watching. For the animal lovers
there is a chance to visit Addo Park in a game drive with
an experienced guide who will lead you seeking for the African Big
five. Overnight in PE. Tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to the
airport for your final destination.

Day 7:Garden Route: the Tsitsikamma National Park
A fully day to enjoy Tsitiskamma National Park and
its indigenous forest, commercial plantation and Fybos. Deep river
gorges cleft the plateau as they make their way down to the sea, creating
spectacular waterfalls and deep kloofs .Free time to discover the
magic of the Natural Valley and the Storm river village. The area
offers a large numbers of activities and beautiful hiking paths: the
highest bungee jumping in the world, canopy tours, backwaters tubing,
rafting. You can also go for less adrenaline adventure by cycling
or walking on the famous Striptease River Trail. If you are passionate
for local food you cannot miss a visit to Finboschock Cheese Farm;
enjoy tasting delicious local cheese and the warm hospitality of the
farmers Another magical overnight at the Tsitsikamma Lodge
Day 8/9 : Addo Park, Coffee Bay
We continue our stunning drive toward the Eastern Cape visiting Addo
Elephant Park for our game drive looking for the African big
five fully escorted by high knowledgeable guide. We leave our
wild experience behind heading for Coffee Bay facing a scenic ocean
view. The following day is free to relax on the beach, to hike the
famous Hole in the Wall, or to discover the local Xhosa culture. Two
overnight in Coffee Bay.
Day 10: Durban
We drive on the Indian Coast heading for Durban. The city homes the
largest Indian population outside of India in the world and a hugely
swelled Zulu presence. Durban is Africa's largest port and it boasts
wide beaches, an extensive beachfront and a steamy tropical climate.
We enjoy a tour of the city and a beautiful dinner Indian style. Tour
ends the following morning after breakfast or the same day according
to return flights

Day 3: Kaymandy Township-Stellenbosh :Culture & Social
This morning we have an early start to visit Table Mountain.
There is a chance to take the cable car on the way to the top. Many
optional hiking paths are available in the area. Before lunch
we head for Stellenbosh, where we have an alternative experience
in the heart of the Winelands. We visit Kaymandy a black Township
meaning Nice place. Witness and share everyday life experience of
the real people of the real South Africa and their Endeavors during
the difficult years of the apartheid to uplift themselves thought
the establishment of community centers and informal trading initiatives
like Spaza shops and Sheebeens. In cooperation with the Greater Stellenbosh
Development Trust we have the chance to live an amazing cultural and
social experience as never before. The Trust in consultation with
the community leaders is encouraging self-sufficiency and development
entrepreneurial skills with the residential. For one day we will be
part of the community sharing meals together, playing music, making
pottery, learning some word in a local language. Live a memory of
your visit by playing guitar, or teaching how cooking your favorite food, singing
a song or drawing. Overnight in one of the local houses, warmly attended
by a sweet mama!
Day 4: Unique wine tour and horse back tasting tour in Stellenbosh
and surrounding area
After the first democratic election in 1994 more and more wine farmers
are trying to include farm workers by allocating part of the farmland
to them for a viticulture purposes. This initiative has contributed
tremendously to poverty alleviation and empowerment of the people.
This morning we meet the people, hear their stories and taste their
wines made of grapes from their own vineyards. This tour is a must
to experience the “New South Africa” in a real way. Early
afternoon we find our way to the heart of the wine lands on a horse
drawn carriage. The journey meanders through vineyards to leading
wine estates with perfect views, where we can stop for a stroll and
a glass of wine before continuing the ride (duration 2hrs c.a.) In
alternative to the wine tour is possible to organize a brandy and
chocolate tasting tour. We continue our drive heading for our accommodation,
a beautiful chalet close by Calitzdorp and the Warm Waters where we
can enjoy a natural bath and a bottle of wine at the moon light.

and whilst in the vicinity, we visit the ostrich farms and experience

for horse riding and hikes where the display of flora, being so much
more noticeable, can be greatly admired. Overnight in Knysna.

Today we fly to Johannesburg. Pick up at the airport and transfer
to our accommodation. The rest of the day is dedicated to explore
the memories of the political system which divided South Africa for
more then 48 years: the Apartheid. We will be visiting the main symbol
of the black struggle for freedom, the township of Soweto and the
Apartheid museum. Overnight in the Gold city. Tour ends the following
day, after breakfast.There is an option to visit Sun City.
