7 days program
Day 1: Ngamba Island
Depending on the time of the flight you will visit Ngamba Island on Lake Victoria to view the feeding of the chimps and hear an informative talk by the sanctuary staff
In the late afternoon, kayak around the island looking for wildlife.
Overnight on the island

Day 2: Ngamba Island
This morning, you will take an early forest walk, when you will join a group of young chimpanzees in their natural habitat, and observe their morning or afternoon feeding and bedtime routines. Alternatively, you may prefer to go to a local fishing village.
Return to Entebbe for the night.

Day 3: Fort Portal - Kibale National Park
Leave Entebbe at 9pm, and eat lunch en route to Fort Portal, where you will arrive around 3pm. In the evening, you can go for a night hik around Kibale National Park, where you are likely to spot nocturnal primates.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale National Park

Drive to Bwindi or Kisoro according to the place for gorilla trekking
Arrive in the late evening
Night in Bwindi or Kisoro

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
This day is specifically dedicated to trekking the mountain gorillas - an extraordinarily emotional and mystical experience. If you are not trekking the gorillas there is the option of half day mountain trekking that will take you through the thick canopy of the forested Mgahinga National Park and Mt. Muhabura. Depending on the time you spend on mountain climbing or gorilla trekking there is the possibility of visiting a local market or trading center in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Kisoro.

Day 6: Kisoro
Leave hotel at 8:00
You will have a traditional breakfast and you leave your hotel at around 8:30Am. You will then visit the pygmies locally known as the Batwa. They are an endangered community of Bushmen in Uganda and their life style still strongly depends on forest life. They will perform their dances punctuated by songs where the rhythm and body movements will find you joining in the celebrations and joy of these people.

Day 7: Equator - Kampala
Drive back to Kampala at 10am, stopping over at the equator, and eating lunch en route.
You will drive to Entebbe in time for your flight home.
